Are You Still Consuming Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils?

We were told for years that they are trans fat

Here is some news:

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced its preliminary determination that partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs), the primary dietary source of artificial trans fat in processed foods, are not “generally recognized as safe” for use in food.“1

It seems that the FDA is getting set to classify PHO’s as a food additive and therefore they would become a regulated ingredient. This could mean that food producers would have to reduce or eliminate them from processed foods.
