When it is cold, damp or chilly outside like it is in Montreal right now, you just feel like eating a huge bowl of savory heart warming soup.
You probably know about the health benefits of beef broth, chicken broth, potassium broth, etc.1 But broth, as healing as it is, can be extremely boring. Why not spice it up with the fabulous flavors of the orient?:)
I started making Pho soup fairly recently and it has become a favorite soup with my friends and family. It is really easy to make. Needless to say, I make it on a regular basis now and I use organic ingredients as much as possible.
Sun, surf and fun, this is what we associate with summer vacations.
However, only a few of us know enough about the greatest danger of the beach – rip currents.
Just about every beach has rip currents.
I remember being a little child when I saw a rip current near by, while playing in the beautiful water of the Black Sea. I didn’t know what it was called, but I got a very creepy feeling about it. I didn’t know how to swim, back then, nor did I know what I now know about rip currents.
Do you ever question the quality and origin of your food? I do, all the time.
And you should too. You want to stay healthy, right?
Nothing makes me angrier than looking at a package of food and realizing that manufactures and distributors are hiding the origin of my food!
Why shouldn’t we, consumers, know what we are eating, and where our food is coming from? And why would you want to hide something if you have nothing to hide? Manufacturers and distributors know that we prefer US and Canadian products that is why they are NOT telling you that you are eating Chinese products.
